Start where you are

Here for the shot?
Or the whole journey?

You do not have to want the same level of support as someone else. Tell us what you are looking for, and we will help you explore a plan that fits your goals and clinical needs.

Medication-focused care

Keep your focus on medication.

Start with a consultation about semaglutide or tirzepatide. We will review your history, discuss your options, and explain the assessment and follow-up needed for treatment.

You can ask about “the shot” without committing to a comprehensive wellness program.

A more comprehensive journey

Look at your whole health.

Begin with a conversation about nutrition, digestive symptoms, and gut health. A broader plan can also consider sleep, movement, stress, and hormone-related concerns when relevant.

Explore personalized meal planning, additional support, and testing based on your needs, preferences, and clinical guidance.

We treat the person.
We do not put you in a box.

Every treatment path includes appropriate clinical assessment and monitoring. We explain required care, optional services, and costs before you choose your plan. Nutrition and physical activity remain important alongside medication.

Options with a personal approach

Semaglutide & tirzepatide
consultations in Milton.

Whether you are exploring treatment for the first time or reconsidering a previous plan, we start by listening. Your health history, preferences, and day-to-day life help guide a thoughtful conversation about your options.

GLP-1

Semaglutide

A prescription option that acts on GLP-1 receptors involved in appetite and food intake. Appropriate weight-management treatment combines medication with nutrition and physical activity.

Discuss your health history, previous treatment, and whether a semaglutide-based plan fits your needs.

Review medication considerations →

GIP + GLP-1

Tirzepatide

A different prescription option that acts on both GIP and GLP-1 receptors involved in appetite and food intake. Your clinician can explain how it differs from semaglutide.

Explore suitability, tolerability, and follow-up as part of a plan tailored to you.

Education & consultation

Other peptide options

Curious about other peptides and your broader wellness goals? Bring your questions. We discuss the evidence, safety, regulatory status, and appropriate, legally available options.

Your needs guide the conversation. Research interest alone does not make a treatment suitable or available.

Treatment requires an individual assessment and, when appropriate, a prescription. FDA approval applies to specific products and uses; compounded medicines are not FDA-approved. Your clinician should explain the exact product, benefits, risks, and alternatives. Results vary.

Informed care

Know your options.
Understand your care.

Semaglutide and tirzepatide are not appropriate for everyone. Review the full prescribing information for your exact medicine with your clinician.

  • Medical history matters. These medicines carry a boxed warning about thyroid C-cell tumors seen in rodents; the relevance to humans is unknown. They are contraindicated with a personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma, MEN 2, or a serious allergy to the medicine.
  • Discuss side effects and interactions. Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and constipation can occur. Serious risks include pancreatitis, gallbladder problems, kidney injury from dehydration, and severe allergic reactions. Some diabetes medicines increase the risk of low blood sugar when used together.
  • Plan ahead. Discuss pregnancy plans, breastfeeding, stomach-emptying problems, other medicines, and upcoming anesthesia. Weight-loss medicines should not be used during pregnancy. Tirzepatide can reduce the effectiveness of oral hormonal contraceptives; ask your prescriber about additional or alternative contraception.

This is a brief overview, not a complete safety list. Contact your clinician promptly about concerning symptoms; seek urgent care for severe symptoms.

Your first weight-loss visit in Milton

Our Milton care team includes Gigi Samed, MD, MBA and Dan McCarthy, PA. Ask which clinician is the appropriate fit for your visit. Meet the OlympusMD team and learn about each person’s role and experience.

Start with your history and goals

Bring your medication and supplement list, relevant medical history, previous weight-management experiences, and any recent laboratory results. If you have used semaglutide or tirzepatide before, bring your prescription details and tell us about your response and any side effects.

Understand the proposed treatment

Your in-person evaluation helps determine whether medication is appropriate. Discuss the exact product, possible benefits and risks, alternatives, and any testing your clinician recommends. You can choose medication-focused care without enrolling in a comprehensive wellness program.

Know the costs and follow-up plan

Ask what the consultation, medication, testing, and follow-up visits cost, and which items are included or billed separately. Before starting treatment, discuss how to contact the team with questions and when your clinician wants to reassess your progress.

If you want additional support, our gut-health and nutrition consultations offer a place to discuss food routines and digestive concerns. That support is optional; a gut-health program is not a prerequisite for a medical weight-loss consultation. Health coaching and prescription decisions have different roles in your care.

Questions, answered

Before you
get started.

A clearer picture of your choices and your first visit.

How do I get started with semaglutide in Milton?

Call (470) 359-4815 or book a consultation at OlympusMD Wellness, 12635 Crabapple Road, Suite 140. Tell us whether you are exploring treatment for the first time or already taking medication. We are open seven days a week; ask about current appointment availability. Prescription decisions follow an in-person clinical evaluation.

Do you offer both semaglutide and tirzepatide?

Yes. OlympusMD Wellness offers consultations for both semaglutide and tirzepatide. Your clinician reviews your history, goals, current medicines, and the specific product before deciding whether a prescription is appropriate. They are different medicines, and one may suit you better than the other.

Can I come in just for “the shot”?

Yes—you can ask for medication-focused care without joining a comprehensive wellness program. A clinician still needs to assess your history, determine whether treatment is appropriate, and arrange necessary monitoring. We will explain what is required and which additional services are optional before you decide.

What about other peptide options?

Bring your questions to your consultation. We can discuss other peptide options in the context of your broader health goals, including what the evidence supports, known risks, regulatory status, and legally available alternatives. An emerging treatment or research finding does not establish that a product is appropriate or available for clinical use.

How does gut health fit into a more comprehensive plan?

If you want to look at your overall health, we can start with nutrition, digestive symptoms, and gut-health concerns, alongside your weight-management goals. Testing or additional care depends on your symptoms, history, and clinical assessment. You do not need to commit to a gut-health program to ask about medication.

Who may be a candidate for medical weight management?

We begin with a clinical assessment. For many approved weight-management medicines, adult eligibility includes obesity, or overweight with a weight-related health condition. Your clinician also considers your medical history, medicines, prior treatment, and preferences. A consultation does not automatically result in a prescription.

What if I have tried a medication before?

Tell us what you used, how you responded, and any side effects. Bring your prescription information and recent lab results if you have them. We can review your experience and discuss whether continuing, changing, or taking a different approach is appropriate. Do not combine or change medicines on your own.

Will I receive nutrition and follow-up support?

Appropriate medical follow-up is part of treatment. You can also explore a broader plan with nutrition guidance, personalized meal planning, and additional wellness support. We will discuss what your clinician recommends, which services you want, and what is included in your chosen program.

Can I have a telehealth visit?

Prescription treatment starts with an in-person evaluation at our Milton clinic. Your clinician may prescribe when medically appropriate. Telehealth may be available for suitable follow-up visits, depending on your location, provider licensure, and clinical needs. Call to discuss the best appointment for you.

How much do semaglutide or tirzepatide plans cost?

Call (470) 359-4815 for current consultation and program pricing. Costs depend on the prescribed product, testing, and follow-up needs. Ask which costs are included and which are billed separately, including optional nutrition support. OlympusMD Wellness does not accept or bill insurance; HSA or FSA eligibility depends on your plan.
